The Caudle Center has several devices and treatments available to achieve facial rejuvenation. Rejuvenation results in skin tightening, a youthful glow, thicker skin, and less pigmentation and wrinkle concerns. Our specialists will customize a treatment for your unique needs.

One of the main devices that we use is a fractional radio-frequency device that allows us to perform procedures in a much shorter time period with only one device rather than several different devices. We are able to correct surface texture imperfections such as acne scars and large pores, while tightening the skin and stimulating collagen growth.

This device has multiple small needles on the end of the hand piece that allow precise, controlled, limited penetration into the skin. After this skin penetration is achieved, the device releases radio-frequency into the deeper skin layers.

A deeper energy release is what stimulates the collagen growth, which decreases fine lines and wrinkles, as well as gives the face a fuller, youthful appearance. When energy is released through the fine needles, coagulation of the skin layers occurs around the needle. As the coagulation heals, surrounding skin pulls tightly together, thus ironing out fine lines and wrinkles. There is just enough superficial release of radio-frequency energy to allow visible imperfections such as scars, acne, large pores, etc to be repaired as well.

Our clinicians will apply a topical numbing cream before beginning your facial resurfacing procedure. We will work in all regions of the face and neck that need improvement, making several passes over areas to ensure maximum results are achieved. Most patients tolerate this procedure well without any additional numbing.

Most patients experience very little discomfort during the procedure and generally report feeling “wind chapped” after the topical anesthetic medication wears off. Patients experience mild swelling and redness in treated region for 3-5 days and have mild skin peeling.

You should use gentle cleansers and moisturizers until all areas have healed before resuming your regular beauty routine. You want to be diligent about sun protection in this phase of treatment and have little to no unprotected sun exposure for 2-3 weeks.

You may experience mild discomfort with a downtime of 3-5 days for less aggressive treatments and 5-7 days for more aggressive treatments.
